THE CELLAR
The cellar reflects the lodge's historic evolution of change, excavated through layers of Aspen's bed of river rock during its recent $1 million historic restoration. Start your day by the cellar's fireplace with a home-style breakfast. In the evening, nudge up to the bar and join other guests of the lodge with one of the many fine wines, your favorite spirit, or a historic "Aspen Crud". If you prefer, sink into one of the plush western leather couches in a quiet cove with your significant other. The original owner, a silver miner, would surely fill the lounge with his friends after a hard day of work; thus, its name, "the Prospector's Cellar".
